Our History. Our Community. Our Future.

Framework for Collaborative Action

The Alliance to Save Cleveland High proposes a collaborative model of solving the current and future challenges with a 3 point Framework for Collaborative Action (FCA).

  1. Develop a shared vision among the school board, the superintendent and the community -- recognizing that a community’s schools require strong community involvement, and that a community cannot thrive without successful schools.
  2. Provide clear roles, responsibilities, accountability and contribution to realize this vision.
  3. Specify the principles and processes that support community participation, collaboration, good stewardship, and confidence in both the school board and the community.

The FCA would guide us in developing a detailed roadmap and action plan to satisfactorily solve the current crisis. It would also serve as operating model, to strengthen the community’s roles and responsibilities to re-build Cleveland High School into a modern, state-of-art, academically excellent high school.

Call for Action

The Alliance to Save Cleveland High asks the St. Louis Board of Education

  • To adopt the Framework for Collaborative Action.
  • To work with its members in developing and implementing specific plans to build a safe, state-of-the-art Naval Junior Academy high school housed at Cleveland.
